I’ve been teaching English 10 at Qianjing High School for two years, and I will return next year. I really like China because of its size- it’s not too big and not too small- its perfect! I also enjoy the Chinese Staff who always make sure the foreign teachers are taken care of, and my students who are (often) eager to learn. My hometown is Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. I attended two universities before coming to China: Saint Francis Xavier University where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree, then Cape Breton University where I obtained my teaching degree.

I am from Sydney, Nova Scotia Canada. I have 5 years teaching experience, with 4 of those teaching Math 10, Math 11 and Pre-Calculus 11 at Qianjing High School. I graduated from Cape Breton University with a Bachelor of Community Studies in Math, French and Human Kinetics and from St. Francis Xavier University with the Bachelor of Education. The best part of teaching in Qianjing is being able to work with such motivated and dedicated students every day!
